Guess who's back! (((:
Alpha camp was gooood. Got to make many new friends. Yay! And I found another banana lover and named him banana-man throughout the camp. The fridge in Changi chalet was considerably big and it was filled with nothing but fruits: bananas and apples! Guess he ate 5 bananas a day or something.
Hope Yiye and Joanne enjoyed the camp too. Haiyoh, but they missed fun night which was the best part of the camp? Daniel did his dance again. MUAHAHHA. It was as though he did it all his life. HEH. Very sporting. :D Almost every youth was called out to dance. All kinds of movements, very wacko.
Never like techno. Somehow got used to the beat after the camp. Wonder why.
Left camp halfway for enight. Carrie did a great job at worship. (: Her prayers were really powerful and yeah, sincere too.
Revd Goh preached that night. It was about an appointment with death and one wouldn't want to go experience life in hell but instead, heaven. He also said that people these days are getting more health conscious because they are afraid of dying. That probably explains why I am taking vitamins every morning?
I don't think I am afraid of death. It could be because I know I will see God and experience heaven. However, I am more afraid of how I will die. The dying-part would matter more than the lying-in-the-coffin-part. Heh.
Chrisitianity is a statement which, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The one thing that it cannot be is moderately important.
-CS Lewis
How true.
Imagine a God that would sacrifice His one and only son. What a sacrifice. Other religions are simply incomparable, insignificant. Or should I say Chrisitanity is not a religion, but a relationship with God the Father.
How nice.
How pleasurable.
How great.
I am saved.
