Still he was awarded the Golden Ball. Well well, just what moral values are they trying to teach? That by losing one's cool. it is still possible to achieve the highest award? Hmm, interesting indeed.

On a lighter note, I think Pirlo from Italy is really good. As in, in all aspects. Footwork, character and erhem, looks. Muahaha. I thought he wasn't straight when he held onto Cannavaro so tightly as he watches his team mates did the penalty kick.

By the way, Man of the Match went to Metarazzi instead of Pirlo because he not only scored for Italy, he caused the Frenchman to be sent off.
