The Fever Dies

There you have it! An accurate prediction of Germany 2006 World Cup Champions! I was rejoicing away as the cup was lifted high up to the heavens in the hands of the Italian captain! Well deserved victory.

The match was unexpected. Totalleh lives up to its name of The Final. Wild wild match.

"The hardest thing is not to try to understand why Les Bleus lost a World Cup final match that was within reach," the sports daily L'Equipe wrote, but "to explain to tens of millions of children around the world how you allowed yourself to headbutt Marco Materazzi." -fox sports

Was it a shameless lack of sportmanship on baldy's part? I had always regarded Zidane as a higly respectable man. Guess the pain in his arm was irritating him and the bubble burst when Metarazzi opened his mouth. Pity he had to leave with an outrageously disgraceful legacy like that. Still he was awarded the Golden Ball. Well well, just what moral values are they trying to teach? That by losing one's cool. it is still possible to achieve the highest award? Hmm, interesting indeed.

On a lighter note, I think Pirlo from Italy is really good. As in, in all aspects. Footwork, character and erhem, looks. Muahaha. I thought he wasn't straight when he held onto Cannavaro so tightly as he watches his team mates did the penalty kick.

By the way, Man of the Match went to Metarazzi instead of Pirlo because he not only scored for Italy, he caused the Frenchman to be sent off.

Mouth to hand. That's his trademark. <3333

Oh Pirlo Pirlo, I will learn Italian just for you! But you are married, so I will save it.

Off to cry (again)!
