Words are a lovely try for something more
The Chinese oral is over! I stuttered, stumbled upon my words, said the eeerr, hesistated and eventually, the examiners for fear that the next minute I would somehow influence their command of Chinese, interrupted my train of thoughts before I could finish answering the question posted.
For PSLE, I had A* for Chinese. O level : C5. A level : ?
Take a look at the immense difference! Scary isn't it. -inhales deeply
Anyway, this week has been pretty hectic for me. There really isn't a lot of homework of late but it could probably be the number of places I have been going to. Yesterday, I went to church immediately after school to meet the Sel, Lyd and Hannah to choreograph the dance for church anniversary. After which it was cell leaders' meeting and it was my first time being part of them. Hannah, unfortunately, is leaving to the States on 25th this month and it's gonna feel funny not to have her leading cell anymore. The only constant in life is change yes? Inevitable crap.
The topic was on stock taking and we talked about our qualities, abilities and passions. Being in the house of the Lord is awesome cos it feels as though whatever takes place inside is right and pleasing in His sight. It gives you a peace within and oh my I could just go on forever...
God has really blessed me with so many things and if I were to count my blessings, the list would probably never end. The friends He provided me, Aiks, Gen, Marilyn, Sann and Sarah! Such wonderful people to be with because we all know and love God we practically talk about our Father everytime during our breaks. Sometimes even singing praise and worship songs together. Shows how real and important He is in our lives. (:
Here's a verse to share before I end my entry!
"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged."
Deuteronomy 31:8
