A little parody of pain
Onto the fourth week of Feb and I am still in the holiday mood. The result of complacency is an accumulation of homework to an unbelieveable amount and trust me, I feel all ready to finish it. The only problem lies with procrastination which I am no. 1 at. Dang, must be the genes from my parents. Can't be help, I suppose? (Am pushing the blame here if you realise)
A good 15 minutes talk with Jude and Thadias (is that how his name is spelt?) has got me learning some good pick-up lines. Say for example,
01) "Hey Dawn are you tired? Because you've been running through my mind"
02) "Touch me Dawn, (insert action) I've been touch by an angel"
there were even more corny ones but I will not share them here lest you turn into unicorns. Sheesh, what's wrong with me tonight.
I am still feeling over the moon since I had dinner with the girlfriends just now. It was supposed to be a pBf reunion but guess who couldn't make it. No prizes for right answer and yes, Gen Khoo the Cool didn't join us because she had family matters to attend to. She would have to make it up by treating us a meal at the village next time. (:
It was heartwarming to know that we still have the same frequency and were able to feel absolutely comfortable together despite not seeing each other for the looooongest time. Wifey and I still laugh over things of the past (that we've laughed at before). Jo still laughs over everything. Min, well, she looks at our stupidity and laughs at us.
My calf muscle has been aching since x country. Training today made it worst and I hope it recovers quickly over the weekend so that I can be all jumpy and alive once more. Would visiting a sinseh help? I remember Alvin went to visit one when he sprained his ankle and I was so sure that his feet swell twice the size after the sinseh rub and rubandrubandrub. But it did quicken the recovery process. I think.
Time is running out, gotta go watch Scrubs now. Smelly Ninja lent it to me before I left school and so far, all his DVDs are making me go to sleep. And tonight, I hope Scrubs would be a lullaby so that I wouldn't be addicted to it and glue my eyes on the teevee.
Sheesh. What ever happened to homework?
Tomorrow!
