In my mind and in my car
we can't rewind we've gone too far
I have a love-hate relationship with school this week. With the JAE orientation on going, the rest of us went around collecting newspapers and old clothing around the Yishun estate (I got to see the ugly and beautiful side of Singaporeans) and the school rewarded us a movie treat (not exactly cos' we still had to pay 3 buckaroos). Letters from Iwo Jima was disappointingly unfantastic. It's little surprise that it didn't bag alot of awards during the oscars.
With Mr Sng's help, we managed to get student-priced tickets for the play- Out of Order. Thankfully the casts' British accent wasn't too thick and that made it easy for us to understand them. Hmmm I still prefer local productions, Wildrice!, probably because they inject a lot of Sg humor aka lameness.
The girls' drill camp officially starts tonight and I haven't been to both senior and pioneer drill trainings for really loooong. It feels odd going back again to help prepare them for the competition. But then again I bumped into a few of them in j8 not too long ago and they actually missed me! Awww.
Absence does makes the heart fonder. I wish you knew what I meant.
