When the company that offers far outweighs the day's activities
The title for this post was somewhat inspired by Emm's daddy haha :)
Time spent out yesterday was fanasticcc! Swimming with Emm in the morning at OCC and later shopping at Orchard before meeting Gen for dinner! We were being indecisive people because she couldn't settle for a pair of jeans (she wanted two when I thought one was way too rugged) and I couldn't settle for a dress! Okay fine, the cutting and design was certainly questionable but it was sucha steal at $20/-!!!
I don't know whether Im feeling regretful for not getting it or secretly happy that sucha queer dress should not have a place in my wardrobe.
Back to the topic! Swimming was sensational! The weather was on our side- all hail the sun! :) I swam a total of 30 laps back and forth before retreating to get a nice tan. Let's not talk about Emm's accomplishment, shall we Emm? HAHAHA :)
Anyway it was only yesterday that I realised the changes in Orchard! The escalator leading up to come face-to-face with Tangs is gone!! Made Emm and I confused for a moment before the ingenious me decide 'why not just follow the crowd and see where it leads us to?' True enough there was a WHOLE NEW PASSAGE WAY! YAY! More shopping malls more colour more excitement more more moreee of everything to upkeep Orchard from being dull and boring! ;)
There was this man dressed in police uniform (actually not exactly, more like a security officer of some sorts) and was directing the way. More than that, together with an accomplice, they were drawing in crowds and entertaining them with their dance moves. It was hilarious watching them!
Gen was my next date! It was great seeing her again since the last steamboat dinner we had together with pbf! Talk, walk, talk, walk till our stomachs growled. We polished our main course and decided to head for more! Desserts at Gelare were sinful (figurative and literal) because we each had our own waffle and there were leftovers! We ate so much our tummies started to show!
One cannot help taking photos with Gen around. Two options: you either outcast yourself if you happen to be camera shy or naturally turn into a camwhore. I chose the latter.
Finally left Orchard and met pretty boy since he was in distress. Maiden saves the day and got spotted by Kenyon and wifey. I really shouldn't blame anyone for the eye infections. Blame it on insufficient sleep.
No training for me today! Shall confine myself at home (probably airborne who knows) and start to work on Mrs Emily Teo's homework. The prospect of going back to school is not appealing at all. I don't want my papers back!
