All muddled up inside, it was almost impossible to chase away the woes and negativity within, especially when night falls. Because things happened so quickly within a short span of time it left me bewildered and helpless, weak and vulnerable altogether. I can't help myself if all these continue to haunt me to no end. Just when I thought that I have gotten over it, something triggers a memory and everything comes flooding back. Prayers are always on my mind, but it was never easy to execute this particular action and having faith in what I asked for from God- strength- was probably never the case but tonight felt different after reading the book of Colossians in tears.

And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light
Col 1:10-12

Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
